QBD is committed to minimizing the impact of its operations and products on the environment. We
are continuously searching for methods to reduce carbon emissions and the related impact on climate change.
In our operations, we continuously strive to identify and utilize the latest methods and technologies that allow us to reduce, reuse and recycle and minimize the amount of waste from our production processes.
Energy efficiency and sustainability are key considerations in the design and manufacture of our equipment. Through higher energy efficiencies our coolers consume less electricity which in turns reduces carbon emissions and minimizes carbon footprint. The high energy efficiency of our coolers is achieved through the use of several technologies including: electronic temperature controls, LED lamps, high efficiency motors and compressors. As an Energy Star Partner the majority of our coolers have Energy Star Certification and Labelling.
NATURAL REFRIGERATION: Our natural refrigeration cooler series - ‘Earth Series’,
employs
an environmentally safe, energy efficient and cost saving alternative refrigerant. Through the use of HFC free insulation and HCFC free refrigerants we strive to further lower the emissions of ozone depleting substances – and continue to minimize carbon footprint.
